What a client can expect from Eileen: Laughs and light-heartedness, but real talk when it comes to hair. I love to give clients color that feels effortless on their part, and is customized to their aesthetic, skin tone, hairstyle, and texture. I see good color as a collaborative effort between myself and the client and encourage them to be adventurous, but am frank and open about what is realistic and flattering. I especially love hair painting and balayage with an emphasis on “undone” blondes, and dimensional brunettes and organic reds.
Astrological Sign: Gemini
Favorite Color: I love a good 70’s color palate, like rusts, goldenrods and avocado greens.
What inspires Eileen most? I’m inspired by travel to other places, my peers, and musicians and icons of the 70’s and 80’s.
Eileen’s Favorite Products: Dreamhouse, by R&Co. It helps create a perfect messy wave on damp or dry hair, without a crispy, salty feel.

Listed as one of Allure’s and 7x7’s Best of San Francisco for her beautiful color work, Eileen has spent the last 8 years at Barrow Salon as a colorist and color educator.

Hired at Cowboys and Angels Salon as an apprentice post-beauty school, she trained extensively under colorists Marie Warden and Katie Casey in Vidal Sassoon techniques. Though having been a colorist since 2009, she continues her education in New York and Los Angeles, under colorists Victoria Hunter, Larry Raspanti, Lena Ot, Mauricio Bermudez and Jenny Regec. She believes continued learning is the key to staying current and perfecting her craft.

She is known for her organic reds, dimensional brunettes, and lived in blondes.

Eileen draws her inspiration from art, music and fashion of the 60’s and 70’s, and from icons such as Ann Margaret, Marianne Faithful, and Kate Bush.
