In 2001, Dante began his career in hair with an apprenticeship at the iconic Bumble and Bumble Salon where he honed in on the art of cutting and styling. He was hand selected to lead the Bb. Apprentice Training program where he elevated the entire program. Years later, he worked behind the chair alongside Sally Hershberger in New York and Los Angeles. Dante is fully rounded in his skill set and knowledge of all things hair. His work with product companies is well documented as he has consulted with brands such as Glossier and Harry’s. His work with Harry’s resulted in the launch of their Hair line, in which Dante was a key part of the research and development.
As Dante continues to be a force in the industry through his work in product development and education he has also been very active in the world of fashion. He has worked backstage at various fashion shows and worked with a variety of publications. He has cut & styled the likes of Kasey Musgraves, MØ, Robin Thicke, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley along with many of the models you see gracing the world’s runways and fashion’s elite.
Dante has been mastering the art of razor cutting for the last 22 years and has become a leading educator in the industry for razor cutting. In 2016, Dante created a custom cut program to align with DLM’s high standards of education. This program has produced three graduating classes of stylists and is currently working towards its fourth. Most recently, Dante has shared his talents with his high end clientele of the West Village. When he is not in NYC, you can find him traveling and educating for luxury brands and young talent across the country.
